Social

Yoga and meditation help us to get in touch with the deepest and most intimate dimension of the soul, in order to achieve a state of well-being and peace. The effects are increased when this experience is shared. As the happiness of the individual extends, it lifts and brings benefits to others.

At YogAyur, we firmly believe in the importance of compassion and active assistance in helping those who live in difficult and disadvantaged situations. By extending one's hand towards the less fortunate of us, we can give a little piece of our joy, bringing light into corners otherwise in the shade.

YOGAYUR AND SOCIAL

YogAyur has always been involved in social projects and over the years we have operated in support of numerous organizations that deal with the collection of funds for schools located in developing countries and regions of the world afflicted by war. Strengthened by the partnership with Amal for Education and through activities in support of non-profit organizations such as Hanuman and NGO as Alice Project, we have actively contributed to the improvement of educational and scholastic conditions in the disadvantaged areas of the globe.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Palestinian Farashe Yoga Center, we organized yoga classes for children in the city of Ramallah and at the Am'ari refugee camp. Furthermore, the practice of Yoga, meditation and the cultivation of Self cannot disregard respect for nature and the environment. Therefore, over the years, we have actively promoted fund-raising events and initiatives for Greenpeace, which since 1971 has been operating worldwide to protect the ecosystem and endangered species.

Stay up-to-date with upcoming and scheduled events organized by YogAyur in support of charitable activities in Italy and around the world by subscribing to our mailing list, or contact us to find out how to support us!

"Meditating solely on compassion equals opting for the passive option. Our meditation should provide the basis for action, to seize the opportunity to do something"
