Kindra has been practising Vipassana meditation for many years and is a teacher of Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga. She teaches a dynamic style of yoga characterised by a sequence of positions synchronised with the breath. The breath unites the body with the deepest part of the mind and spirit.
Coming from a post-colonial research background, Kindra uses Yoga as a tool to help students explore their identity-building process through the study of asanas, breaths, mantras and intuitive movements.
Her teaching method harmonises physical practice with the spiritual philosophy of yoga and creates a safe space in which students can experience themselves and their value in an accessible way. For her, teaching yoga is a way to inspire identity, creativity, femininity and connection.
